Can’t wait for Breakfast with Krampus? Neither can Krampus. He’s arriving early and coming to Lux Lounge. Because even Krampus needs a drink!
Krampy Hour will include Krampus-themed drink specials, Krampus merchandise for sale (cards, sticker books, t-shirts, and buttons), and other devilish activities. And of course you get a chance to hang out with the main man himself: Krampus.
So join us Friday, December 6, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Lux Lounge (666 South Ave.). Note that this event is 21 and over ONLY.
Breakfast with Krampus will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2013 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at MuCCC (142 Atlantic Ave.) in Rochester, NY. (For more information on MuCCC and a map visit muccc.org.)
Admission to Breakfast with Krampus is FREE. But please note that this event is NOT intended for kids age 16 or younger.*
Breakfast with Krampus will include:
- An alternative holiday arts & crafts sale (curated by The Lobby)
- A Germanic bake sale
- Crafts with Krampus (make your own birchen beating rod!)
- Games and prizes
- Educational displays on Krampus and other disturbing, archaic holiday icons
- Professional photos with Krampus (for a fee)
- A visit with Krampus
- Live performances and surprise guests
As for the “breakfast” part, if you bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to disadvantaged children, and Krampus approves of your offering, you’ll get a complimentary breakfast treat and some coffee. If Krampus DOESN’T like your gift, you’ll be harassed, possibly beaten, and in extreme cases dragged straight to Hell.
*While The Kramplings are eager to spread the word about Krampus, and for him to be used as a motivating tool for well-mannered children, we really don’t want to be responsible for personally terrorizing kids. Nor do we want to be accused of encouraging child abuse. So please leave the little ones at home, come learn about Krampus, buy some t-shirts and prints, and then go back and tell your chirruns about Saint Nick’s sadistic comrade.
